Hello All. This is my first post here. I am in need of some help. I have had these red marks on my skin for what seems as forever. I would be willing to say that it might have been over two years, maybe even longer. I am a 17 year old male. Currently I don't have much active acne except for a few pimples on my left cheek and sometimes my chin. I have been using tretinoin and acanya for around 6 weeks with no improvement. I have used both in the past around 2 years ago, but I was also not using sunscreen at that time so I don't know if that screwed me out of having results, but I am using sunscreen now. So what do you folks think? Should I continue using the tretinoin? I have heard some good things about peels, BHA, and vitamin c. Am I doomed to have these marks forever? I feel that after as long as I have had them that they would have faded on their own. It really sucks having these and it eats away at my confidence all of the time. Any help is appreciated. I attached some pictures as well. Thank you all.

I hear V Beam is good for your case just keep your head up once the red marks go away i doubt you'll have any real scarring

I had IPL for red marks and was really satisfied with the results. I had four treatments, each treatment taking about 15 minutes. The pain wasn't bad and the downtime zero, could just walk outta there with a little redness (hardly noticeable).

I'm in pretty much the same boat and I know how badly it can affect your confidence but unfortunately I don't have any advice for you but I just wanted to say just keep your head up and remember nothing lasts forever!

But I'd also love to hear what other people say on this post.

Just by looking at your picture it looks like you're a very cute guy (I dont mean to flirt by the way) and I am on the same boat with you. Lesser but bad enough to crush my confidence every freaking day. I'm thinking about doing vbeam laser or probably IPL. Maybe that will be our solution for this cursed acne marks.

Definitely go Vbeam Perfecta. It takes care of both acne and red marks.
