Low Dose Accutane For Mild Persistant Body Acne?

Since I was thirteen (23 now) I've experienced acne on my back, shoulders, and upper arms. Its generally mild to moderate however very persistant. I have also experienced facial acne since I was 13 but have been able to maintain it with differin and duac. I feel like I've exhausted all my options including topicals, antibiotics, supplements and spiro. Zinc oxide or organic diaper cream seemed to help, but the idea of putting it on everyday is just too much. Zinc supplements felt like another bandaid. I don't mind putting differin on my face for the rest of my life but my back is another story.

I'm also ethnic, so anytime I get one pimple, I get hyperpigmentation. This is without picking. The hyperigmentation looks worse than the acne itself and take months to disappear.

Has anyone gone on a low dose accutane for body acne (10-20 mg)? Was it a successful treatment?

I don't feel comfortable yet going on a large dose, but don't want to take if a low dose wouldn't do much to help.

Vitamin A 'cured' my acne, accutane is just a vitamin A derivative.

Try this daily regimen...

Vitamin A - 10,000 to 20,000iu

Vitamin D3 - 5,000iu

Magnesium Citrate - 500mg

Zinc Gluconate - 30mg

You could also add vitamin k2.

I'm fairly confident this regimen will 'cure' your acne.
