Dear acne.org community,

tahnk you for beeing so helpful for me !

Do you guys know which kind of scarring this is ? I know I still have outbreaks but you can see some obvios scars.

And the scars are about 20% worse then on the pictures due to the light...

Which treatment could you advise and does anybody of you have the same scarrring ?

Do you think i can get 80%+ improvement ?

One last question: the scars appear to be less deep in the morning .... Does anybody of you expierience the same thing ?

and i will upload some pictures soon with better light to expose the real deepth of the scars.

I know it is mild to mid scarring but the uneven texture and so on is that which makes me feel unsecure and so on.

Sorry for all those questions ... ;)

If you have questions feel free to ask

Not too sure, probably cause I don't get scars, just pigmentation. A simple google search will give you your answer man!

Looks similiar to mine. I know I have some rolling, and pitted whatever that means IDK. Id say maybe some boxcar for sure. I been using Glycolic and Lactic 40% and I just realized when finishing the last peel, my boxcars are almost gone I CANT BELIEVE IT>Maybe you want to youtube that. All texture problems are ATROPHIC.

just a quick update.

I started to apply coconut oil on my skin about 3 days ago and honestly I have to say that i got slight improvement. I will keep applying that for the next couple of months and will keep updating a bit. (if you guys interested)

I might upload some pictures tmrw.

One last thing I am not sure about. How would you consider my scarring ? Is it deep or superficial ?

thanks for your help

hey guys keep you upated

so i have gotten a pretty bad breakout about 1 month ago and it has resulted into further scarring.
I would say that the new scars are much much worse than the old ones and I would be really happy if I had the skin I used to have 3 months ago, which I thought was horrible. (see pictures)
Nevertheless I have switched to apple cider vinegar and we`ll see if i get beter results.
I maybe post a few pics later but they are wothless because you can not compare if there was any progress on my scarring du to the new scars everywhere.

I think time may have played a part there. Nevertheless your skin is much improved! Have you been needling as well? I gotta say I actually laughed at the slapping technique, don't get me wrong, I believe it may work, but the image of someone doing that is hardcore! Great for you anyway, keep doing what you're doing. Good Luck!

I had to giggle as well especially as it is something I could rather happily do to myself when I look in the mirror of doom.

Time was a big factor of course
And yes i have needled about every 4 months or so.

I have to metion that if you want to compare the results between the pictures correctly then you should not look on the 2 scars at the top of my scarring area because they are relativley new. (2nd pic)

And slapping the scars felt amazing :D

Subcision would work on those with filler if you goto a doctor.

Microneedling and tca if you do it at home would help some. Those look like shallow box cars to me.

You could try a tca peel to see if it evens out the texture, it does nothing for deep pits, but maybe the shallow ones.

Are you using retin a cream to turn your skin over?
