Some people were asking if licorice would interfere with the anti-androgen effects of spiro and it seems the answer is no. Hirsutism and acne are both caused by DHT sensitivity and this article below talks about a study in which women with hirsutism safely took both and still had less hair growth even at a high dose of licorice. The next link is a forum where licorice's mode of action is explained. It can work "with" spiro as an androgen blocker.
