Guest Craigems Share Posted November 9, 2004 Just wondering if Anyone has any scope on this, I mean do people who have more white skin have worse acne than those of more african origins? Just a question, coz i mean i dont really see that many darker skinned people having bad acne, its always the lighter coloured skin people. And this relates to perscription ... Accutane lol. I do know generally red-head people have worse acne than others but i mean, thats probably due to pigmintation of the skin pronouncing it more. I dunno but yeh just a question that came to mind. Gypsy 0 Share Posted November 9, 2004 I'm not sure. It's possible since acne has some hereditary factors to it. But it's interesting in my family which is Asian, my brother and I both got acne and we grew up in America. None of my cousins who didn't grow up here got it...so I think environment influences whether you actually get it although you may have the genes for it.
