So I started Tazorac and Doxycycline about a week ago. I have moderate acne that's persistent. I'm going to be posting logs week by week and before and after pictures. In the morning I wash my face with cetaphil cleanser and moisturizer and use that at night and then apply my tazorac. I am taking Doxy usually in the afternoon. I'm using the Tazorac Cream .05% and Doxy 150mg. Let's hope for clear skin!post-461551-0-75053300-1428254488_thumb.post-461551-0-34785900-1428254472_thumb.

About to start week 2. My skin has gotten worse and I'm very dry and flaky. I'm also looking pretty red and irritated. I'm guessing this is the initial break out and it SUCKS. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Week 2 and half: my skin feels very good at the moment, some pimples on my right cheek but everything else is clear. Redness and dryness has become less prevalent. Been drinking lots of water lately so maybe that's helping. Catch ya later.

So am I now finishing up my 4th week of this Taz/Doxy duo. I'm not gonna lie, my 3rd week was BADDDD I mean both cheeks covered in inflamed red pimples with hard cysts and pustules all over my chin. Right now, my left cheek has been pimple free for the past week and looks normal actually. My right cheek on the other hand had I bad break out the other day and I'm still recovering from that. My chin is still getting pustules almost daily but I'm fine with that because there not that bad. I'm still recovering from the cysts from last week though. Anyways, here are the pictures.

Weeks 2 and a half through 3 and a half EWWWW

Here is where I'm at now, at the end of week 4. Certainly not clear yet but my skin is feeling better and it doesn't look as clogged and disgusting as before.
