I'm 11 weeks pregnant and my acne has gotten bad. I've always had iffy skin, did accutane in my mid 20's. I'm 35 and the lower half of my face is all broken out. Bc I'm pregnant I can't use so many products plus I'm allergic to clindamycin (antibiotic). My OB seems unwilling to prescribe arygel or azalaic acid. She referred me to a dermatologist who can't see me for over a month and told her over the phone there's pretty much no solution while I'm pregnant but I know the two things I listed above are safe. I need suggestions on how to help my acne. I just feel like I don't wanna leave the house. Makeup just looks like I put powder over pimples. Happened across this site, not sure if people still use it, if they do I could use suggestions.

Hi! congrats on having a baby!

I have never been pregnant, so I don't know from personal experience, but I have heard about Belli Skin Care, which is designed and formulated for safe use while pregnancy. Their cleansing washes contain Lactic Acid, which is known to be safer than other topical treatments. I believe it is available on Amazon. It has some mixed reviews but has worked for many people.
