ProactivSUCKS 0 Share Posted November 8, 2004 AHA - Alpha Hydroxy Acids. Most common ones found in skin products are Glycolic Acid and Lactic Acid. You can find them in a lot of diff products. Im using the 8% concentrated Neutrogena Healthy Skin Lotion and it's alright...nothing spectacular. They're suppose to clean your pores and fade redmarks, but it's working pretty slowly. Terihe 1 Share Posted November 9, 2004 AHA,s exfoliate above the the skin. BHA,s like salacylic acid exfoliate below the skin and into the pore because the are oil soluable. They also exfoliate the upper skin as well. Therefore they work better for ridding skin of blackheads.
