Triple Antibiotic Ointment To Your Nostrils Or Ears May Cure Your Cystic Acne

Recommended Posts

If you develop pimples inside of your nose or primarily have acne around your mouth and cheeks, the acne-causing bacteria may be living in your nostrils. If you get ear pimples or primarily have back and jawline acne, your acne-causing bacteria may reside in your ears.

Triple Antibiotic Ointment http://www.drugs.com/pro/triple-antibiotic-ointment.html is a safe and effective topical ointment for the treatment of nasal microbes implicated in disease. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23377521, http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16368476

The bacteria that caused my cystic acne and nose pimples lived inside of my nostrils and daily application of TAO to my nostrils with a cotton swab for a month CURED my cystic acne and nose sores. Friends and members of online acne communities have tried this method and have seen substantial improvement with their acne.

I've created a thread here if you would like to read more.

Is it proven that staph only grows in those 2 areas?

F

will research more tomorrow

Staph can be found in the ears, nose, throat, and skin. http://www.healthline.com/health-news/aging-are-staph-skin-infections-becoming-more-common-072613#1 Approximately 30% of the human population have Staph in their nostrils. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1068605/

There are many acne regimens that focus on the skin, but not many that treat the nose and ears as home to acne-causing bacteria.

Are you planning on getting some type of professional attention? How would you go on about getting a clinical study started on this phenomenon?

I'll be converting into a germaphone thanks to you!

I am hopeful that the attention will come from the success stories people report. I am optimistic that this is the solution for many people and that that will draw appropriate attention :)

How would I go on about completely eliminating Staph completely from my house? Does it stay on surfaces once spread for a long time?

Found the answer: here

Edit 03/09 - purchased 2 packs of Sheffield's Triple Antibiotic Ointment @ Dollar Tree. Same ingredients. Applied small amount inside ear & around. As for the nose, I spread a pea sized amount inside both nostrils

Awesome that you have gotten this started. I believe the article you linked is a little extreme about staph on objects. The body is really the only environment where staph can thrive around the house :)
