On 150mg Minocycline per day (50 morning, 100 night)

Regimen:

Morning

Spectro jel or Acne.org cleanser

Cerave Moisturizer (when not going out into sun)

KAVI SPF 30 (when going outside)

Night

Spectro jel or Acne.org cleanser

Cerave Moisturizer

Any help regarding clearing acne/fixing hyperpigmentation/scarring would be appreciated (diet, supplements, medication, topicals). Any help would be great :)

Note: I'm already on a NO-DAIRY/LOW-GLYCEMIC diet and have been for about a year. I eat very healthy imo. I take 30mg Zinc Picolinate per day, fish oil, probiotic powder, vitamin D3. I drink a few cups of green tea (matcha) daily.

Run the products you use of your face through cosdna (a website). Most likely the products you're using on your face are causing you acne.

And what are some products you would recommend? (Keep in mind my skin is naturally a bit dry)

i am going to go on a limb here and say that its your fish oil that might be causing your outbreak.

I took it for a while thinking that it will help reduce my acne and nope...made it worse!!

I stopped taking it and boom...no more random acne popping out on the daily (i still had my acne dont get me wrong...just not the constant random acne increase).

I also started taking vitamin C, B5 and garlic tablets (along with my zinc).

This has helped me immensely!

I dont get as much acne as i used to (some tiny ones but they disappear on their own)

again, I am not 100% sure what may cause your skin to react that way... could be hormonal or just your skin not liking your face products and thus giving such reaction.
