So I read you're not supposed to wax while using a topical retinoid. But I have a pretty awful (in my own eyes) womanly mustache and would love to be able to get rid of it. If I really can't wax (and by the way, I only apply adapalene every other day and never near my upper lip), what can I do to get rid of my facial hair?
The ladystache is not my favorite look of all time...
So I waxed half of my upper lip the other day using sally hansen wax strips. I haven't done the other side yet but I will. It hurt a little more than usual and i was very cautious. I put a heavy layer of medicine mama's apothecary beauty balm over it and the redness went away with no lasting marks.
So ladies, i'd proceed with caution with waxing while on differin, but so far, so good.
