I just made this account because I really need to know what skin condition I have. I took the picture with flash so it might look a little more pale than in person, but not that much of a difference. It's basically the same color, but the flash altered it just a teensy bit.

It happened the first year of college. I started breaking out due to stress and eating junk food. I constantly touched it because I was insecure about my face. Now the bumps are gone, but I am left with these red, flat spots (although few are small bumps). Sometimes the spots are lighter reddish-pinkish, and most of the time it is just red in the center and lighter red around the outside.

This is the right side of my face. (sorry if these pictures are big! I took them with my phone and uploaded here, but I dont know how to resize it!)

I have been researching and I think that it is post inflammatory erythema (PIE). I need some someone to help me clarify if I am correct. Also can this be treated at home without going to a dermatologist? Are there home remedies, off-the-counter medications, or anything at all?

Please and thank you ~
