Hello and merry Christmas to everybody.

The topic is not entirely new, I am aware of that

I am asking if someone figured out a dosage equivalnce between Vitamin A and Isotretinoin.

Let me explain.

I am aware that they are not at all equivalent things.

In any case they have a thing in common which is the capability to reduce the sebum excretion rate.

So with reference to this specific action one can make a comparison.

In technical terms the question is how many IU of VitA / kg of body weight equal 1mg Isotretinoin / kg of body weight in terms of sebum reduction ?

Please refrain from warning me about the risks of Vitamin A on the liver.

It is obvious that if the answer to the question brings about a toxic dosage of Vitamin A, one should not take such a regimen.

Just focus on the very specific question of the topic, even if it might seem merely theoretical.

Thank u.

:-)

Well I've been "megadosing" at 80,000 to 100,000 ui's or whatever and *so far* I have seen some reduction of oil on my face. It sounds like a huge number but it's not really, and it's still way under the level it would take to reach real toxicity. However I've also been taking borage seed oil so idk if it has something to do with that instead. I don't feel sick or achy and my skin isn't really super dry like it was on isotretinoin.
