I've tried derma rolling, and I can tell you, it's not worth the pain and money!!! It looks like you have small bumps and some scarring, which is similar to what I have. I thought the small bumps were just skin imperfections, but the derma roller will for sure break those open if you use it right. Your skin will have little blood spots from that, and it will be irritated. It doesn't seem to touch the scars though at all. I'm in the same boat as you are... Sorry I couldn't have anything better to say about it, but sadly it doesn't work.
