I've been using the regimen for a while now, but I'm still getting some stubborn zits popping up (it's still an improvement though).

I came across tea tree oil as an effective means of getting rid of zits fast. Just wanted to know how to use it most effectively. Is diluting necessary? Spot treatment only or should i mix it with a moisturizer?

All experiences and insights with tea tree oil would be appreciated.

Also, does the brand matter at all? I was jus gonna pick a bottle up at my nearest walmart http://www.walmart.com/ip/Spring-Valley-100-Pure-Australian-Tea-Tree-Oil-2-fl-oz/10316901

I wouldn't start out putting it straight on your face. I would mix a couple drops into your cleanser everytime you wash. Dilute it if you make a spot treatment. When you clean your face with pure tea tree oil it kind of feels the same as rubbing alcohol. It burns, dries out your face, and then your face creates more oil to compensate.

I really like Dessert Essence thoroughly clean tea tree face wash and their cleansing pads. I always had better luck with those.
