Hey friend's,
Hope everyone has been well and enjoying the summer. I haven't been on for a while and just wanted to pop by to do a quick update post. If you guy's read my last post about getting a possible skin graft or radiofrequency microneedling... I've decided to hold off on the skin graft. I will however be going in on the 19th for radiofrequency microneedling treatment and I am very excited for that . I will be having 3 of those treatments done spaced 6 weeks apart. I am planning to update on here with photo's for anyone who may be interested in that particular treatment.
I did my last dermarolling session on July 29th. That was my 7th one and tonight I'll be doing my 8th. Tbh I haven't noticed much of a difference despite doing so many sessions. I did however notice that one of the scars did seem to fill in a little bit. It appears that it's increased in a little bit of volume. I'm going to attach a photo of it so let me know if I'm just delusional lol. I really tried my best to replicate the same angle. As for lighting, it's still the same florescent light bulb in the bathroom from a month ago but for some reason it appeared more yellow in the before picture. Regardless you can see all my scars very clearly, unfortunately. The before picture is date stamped from July. I circled the area of alleged improvement and I'll attach the originals as well.
I know it's not much in terms of improvement, not staggering by any means but even a little bit of possible improvement gives me hope that this is working. Anyways let me know what you think!
our scars look very similar....I stamp away myself and there is no doubt improvement, it's slow going but it's there
I can definitely see the same with yours....where do you live and what is the name of the machine the doctor will be using for the RF treatments?
THANK YOU for keeping us posted, we are all rooting for you!!
Thanks guy's! I'm glad you guy's see some slight improvement too and I'm not just being delusional. I know it's not much improvement but I've also heard that needling is an extremely slow process. So I am expecting more obvious results to come by the 2 year mark. It's just a little frustrating with how slow progress is.
@Mrsrobinson, I'm not sure about the name of the machine he will be using but he said It's a combination of infini & scarlet? I will definitely find out for you. I live in Vancouver.
