5 Weeks On The Regimen But Still No Improvement

I've been on the regimen for 5 weeks now. I purchased the regimen with aha+, honestly I see no improvement at all. My face is overly dry and still itchy at times. I feel like I have developed eczema on the right side of my face after my 1st week of being on the regimen. What's worse is I've never had acne on my neck area, but when I started the regimen I've been developing quite a lot on my neck. Also, this is the first time that I've developed cystic acne. I never had cystic acne before and I continue to get those kind every week. I don't wear make up anymore because of the dryness that I'm experiencing. I don't know what to do. I am strictly following the instructions on how to use the products and being very gentle on my face. I just don't know what am I doing wrong. I feel so depressed. They say it gets worse before it gets better but whenever I read testimonials on how other people are seeing improvements, I can't help but feel bad about mine. I know it's still too early to be upset about it, I just can't help it. :'(

To your knowledge have you changed anything in your eating habits? changed detergent for the towels you use on your face? using any sort of lotions and touching your face without realizing? Under stress? staying hydrated? -- these are all factors that may be contributing to your breaking out.

5 weeks isn't quite enough time to determine whether a routine is working for you - 3-4 months is the norm to see if you are improving. Personally, I saw real results in the regimen after 3 months, give or take. If you feel it's not working for you, there have been no positives at all then maybe research a new routine. There are other methods people have used on the site. I would say give it more time before coming to a definite answer. I hope things improve :) or if you find something else post it, for anyone else who might be having trouble.

Please take the quiz and read through the biggest mistakes.

It may take up to three months of strict use before you see good results. If you can, hang in there. If you feel that your skin is experiencing something out of the ordinary please discontinue and see your doctor for advice. Here is the usual progress timeline if using the products as directed.
