I am 17. I've had moderate acne since I was about 10. But its progressed to severe acne in the last three years. Its all over my face particularly on my cheeks. I also have moderate acne on my chest, shoulders, and back. Ive tried everything for my acne, currently I'm using prescription anti biotic gel along with tretinoin cream. I'm starting accutane in twenty days. I'm using nexplanon as birth control just so i can go on the accutane. Ive realized that what I thought were just large pimples near my groin might actually be Hidradenitis Suppurativa. I havent told my dermatologist. Should I tell him? Or should i just wait and see if the accutane clears it along with my other acne?
