Need Advice!? Have Never Talked To Anyone About It

Ok so I have this scar on my chin that has just seemed to get dark and darker as the years go on. I wear sun screen constantly.

It's weird because in some light you can't even see it but under the right lighting or shading, especially in pics it gets very dark.

I have never seen or ask any professional about it so I don't even know what "type" of scar it is which makes it hard to research online.

I thought that after my acne was gone I would be happy, but I'd rather have small acne than this scar, it has destroyed me.

Any advice or tips would be gravely appreciated!! Thank you

I'm going to be frank with you here. Why do you think this scar is worse than acne? It doesn't even look like an acne scar. I honestly don't know why something like this would bother you, especially considering that you're male. I can guarantee you that the look of this scar isn't what's affecting your attractiveness. It's either all in your head, or else it's something else about you, but certainly not this.Anyway, the classification for it would be a deepish rolling line scar. If i were you I honestly wouldn't do anything about it.

First, your skin looks great and I think most people have some kind of scar on their face. We just tend to focus on our own so much that they seem worse than they really are. But I totally know how you feel.

I'm guessing that if you went to a plastic surgeon they would inject in with filler or could fix it surgically. The reason I say this is because I just recently had filler for a "dent" that was caused by a cortisone injection. It's an immediate fix but not cheap. About $500. And it wears off over about a year.

So the great news is that your scar has a really good chance of being fixed! The other great news is your skin looks good.

I hope this helps some.

Lisa
