What do you think of bacon? I eat paleo (no sugar) and try to up my calories, because I feel so tired without any fruits or fats.

I typically eat very little meat, mostly fish, because organic is expensive. Definitely not every day. But reduced fat bacon (half the calories) tastes very good.

Also... what about sweet potatoes? Are they okay to eat? I am not sure if they won't cause any blood sugar spikes.

Sweet potatoes are great for you and your skin. And they are high in resistant starch that's slow to break down, so no, they don't cause insulin spikes.
