If scars aren't tethered down is it sort of the same as treating wrinkles? After all, they're both caused by loss of collagen, right?

So if a product says it helps deep wrinkles by promoting collagen production, would that mean it could be effective for scars? (obviously providing the products actually does what it advertises)
