Acne Scarring Lf Advice (Pic Included)

Recommended Posts

Hey guys I'm just wondering if there are any treatments out there that can help at least diminish the appearance of my scarring. Its mostly those 3 large holes that bother me I had 2 microderm treatments the results are good but only for exfoliating the skin and the results are only temporary. So I'm here hoping there are other treatments that could help me thanks in advance

To be fair he didn't take the photo in bad lighting. As somebody with those kind of scars myself, i know that they can look completely different in bad lighting.

Also i see you are often saying that people are complaining about having scars that aren't that bad. I had a look at your started topics (correct me if i'm wrong) and it looks as though you only have a single small scar near your lip. Do you not find what you're saying extremely hypocritical?

no i do not find it hypocritical. my scar is from a chemical burn, and almost no one on this site and 1 in a 1000 people have scars next to their lip. as we know in harsh lighting scars come out, and i have even been teased for having a disease due to the black looks scars give off. for the record i have the same enlarged pores and few icepick scars in the same spot as the op.

When did this forum become a scar competition? It doesn't matter how many scars you have. What matters is how the scars make you feel. All of us have a right to seek help and improvement.

I agree that the quality of the conversations has gone down, which is a combination of the old-timers moving on and newcomers who have not done their research.

It's certainly not about who has the worst scars, but some cases are blown out of proportion. In those cases, most people would not even notice the scarring. It's counterproductive to feed into their warped view of their very minor skin issues.

Too many people have such a skewed perception of their skin that they make decisions out of desperation, and in some cases the results were disastrous.

From what i can tell he has three large rolling scars in addition to that. They're hard to see because of the lighting, but if you move back a bit from the computer screen they become more apparent.
