Under Skin Red Spots

I have been using acne.org products for 4 months and I am very happy about my spots healing down but i am still worried about the red spots under my skin that makes it look like i still have an acne. Im 19 years old and having this on my face is putting my confidence down. I would like to be able to go out without having to cover it up with make up.

Can someone please tell me how do I treat this? It would be very helpful and would mean a lot to me to be able to wake up in the morning with clear face.

Thank you

Hi :)

The dark spots you're referring to are hyperpigmentation. They are the dark spots which remain after the acne itself has gone. They are really annoying and take 10 times longer than acne to get rid of. That's currently my main concern. I got acne mostly on my cheeks, and whenever that happens, even if I don't touch the pimple, after the acne goes away, it ALWAYS leaves a mark, and it takes so long to fade away. Although these will fade out naturally over time as your skin renews itself, I have been using natural methods to try and speed up the process. I have been applying things such as a turmeric face mask, sweet almond oil, vitamin e oil, lemon juice, honey, etc. I've been using them all topically on my face a few times a week. My favourite is the turmeric face mask, lemon juice and vitamin e. I'm also going to see my doctor to ask if she can prescribe me Retin-a. It's a retinoid cream, made from vitamin a, which helps the skin to renew itself, and is often used for treatment of acne, dark spots, and wrinkles.

There are many ways to treat hyperpigmentation, if you google it I'm sure you'll find something you can try :)

Good luck!
