I'm 30 yo male and recently had skin infection which resulted in chicken pox like scar (I had chickenpox as a child). I've attached details of infection and treatment . My dermatologist recommended 6 sessions of roller and depending on the results filler. I had 2 sessions so far and can see some improvements (colour become more lighter and scar tissue lifted somewhat). He says that with this treatment I can get up to 80% improvement. Do you think this is the way to go or there better options? Thanks

I can see some improvements from what you have showed here, I would keep rolling until you feel like you have achieved all that can be obtained from it and then maybe look into other treatments if you still want further improvement. Rolling can take awhile but there have been some pretty goods results posted around this site. What type o infection caused that, was it staph or something else I am interested.

Thank you so much for your response! I'm still unsure of what caused this. I have relatively healthy my skins thanks to skin care routine combined with a healthy lifestyle. It all started with little bump that just did not go away in Feb14 (I had cold and swollen lymph nodes in Jan14 but nothing serious). Eventually I went to the doctor about 1 week later who diagnosed skin infection but didn't elaborate he gave me Fucidin cream and ointment (fusidic acid) and Noprilam (Amoxicillin/ Clavulanic Acid). I followed the instructions and the bump has dissipated leaving deep round depression above my eyebrow. I haven't picked or scratched it it just healed by itself . Now I have this scar that makes me really insecure about myself and I wish to have it gone! Hopefully the roller will help.
