This is a single subforum dedicated to scarring, whereas the EDS forum is an all-inclusive Skin Care and Makeup forum. In terms of scarring, I have found much more conclusive postings and posts of better quality in regard to scarring here on acne.org.

Essential Day Spa forums have a great advantage over acne.org: old users are still active sharing their long-term improvements. Bethany, Foxe, Catski and many others are reporting their dermarolling results and exchanging information since 2007. They use dermarolling mostly for anti-ageing issues, and the ageing process never ends, so they do not leave, unlike acne.org users. On the other hand, acne.org is focused on acne and acne scars. Both message boards are useful in different ways.

Essential day Spa also takes a scientific approach, focusing on studies and clinical trials. People are skeptical and will do and share research on the best skin care approaches. I think the level of critical thinking is much higher.
