These two red spots, what are they?

I have very dry skin, but I produce tons of oil at the same time

I also have had occasional seborrheic dermatitis flare-ups

Thanks

This looks like either serb dermatitis or rosacea. Have you been to a dermatologist to get it checked out? because both conditions have very different treatments. All the best.

I have been to 4 dermatologists and not one of them had a clue.

I don't think I've ever had a real flush as such and I don't blush easily. I do have seb. derm. but usually it's limited to around the nose.

Thanks for your post

Im sorry to hear that you still haven't found an awnser, i know how frustrating this can be. The only reason I said rosacea is because the redness is in the typical area- the nose and surrounding skin and can be more common in fairer skin types, however if you know you have serb dermatitis then at least you know. What are you currently using to help you seb derm- anti fungal shampoos like nizoral or anti fungal prescription? Perhaps you should get a skin sample and test it?

Hey looks like my skin! I think its rosacea.

Best ways to calm it is dont touch anything hot (hot water, really hot food), no spicy foods, no coffee or tea, no tomatos, wash you face with a cleanser only at night and in the morning just use water, nothing acidic.

But you best go to a specialist to get it sorted out :)

Whenever I get a seb. derm. flare up, Nizoral cream really works well.

Thing is, I've had those red spots maybe 10 times in a year. Only once were they as bad as in the picture. I can eat tomatoes, hot food, hot drinks, etc without flushing/blushing.

I have no idea what those spots are but it doesn't sound like rosacea when I look at the signs and symptoms of rosacea. I don't trust specialists anymore, either, the ones I've gone to were fucking useless. Pardon my French.

Looks like telangiectasias/dilated blood vessels.

Have you used IPL or pulsed dye lasers at all?

No I haven't.

I maybe should've added that I only get these 2 spots once every couple of months, mostly when I get dry eyes or extra dry skin
