As of late, my skin has really cleared up (knock on wood) so I thought I would share the products that have helped me achieve clear skin/hide my blemishes. If you have any products that I didn't mention, add them!

Cleansers:

  • Neutrogina oil free acne stress control power clear scrub (Better for oily skin, can be drying)
  • Neutrogina grapefruit acne scrub (Better for oily skin, can be drying)
  • Clean & Clear deep action cream cleanser (Better for oily and combo skin)
  • Biore warming scrub
  • St. Ives Apricot scrub (Better for oily and combo skin)
  • St. Ives blackhead clearing green tea gel cleanser (Great for all skin types)
  • Cetaphil gentle cleanser(Sensitive skin/dry skin)
  • Shiseido the skincare gentle cleanser (Sensitive skin/ dry skin)
  • Shiseido Ibku gentle cleanser (All skin types)

Personally, I find that cleansers that foam break me out, so most of these are cream cleansers.

Toners:

  • Witch hazel+tea tree oil (combo skin)
  • Shiseido pureness oil control toner ( oily skin)
  • Alba Hibiscus toner (All skin types)
  • Simple soothing toner (All skin types)

The witch hazel and tea tree oil works the best for me. I just fill up a bottle with witch hazel and put some tea tree oil in it and shake before each use.

Moisturizers:

  • Clean & Clear dual action moisturizer (oily skin)
  • Kiss My Face Chinese botanical moisturizer (Combo skin)
  • The Body shop tea tree oil moisturizer (oily skin)
  • The body shop vitamin C moisturizer (all skin types)
  • Cetaphil cream (Dry skin)
  • Vanacream or vanalotion (Sensitive skin)
  • Shiseido The skincare night moisture recharge (All skin types)
  • Neutrogena oil free moisture- sensitive skin (All skin types)

Spot treatments:

  • Tea tree oil
  • Clearasil vanishing cream
  • Mario Badescu™s drying lotion
  • Black drawing salve (This is especially good for cysts)
  • Clean & Clear Advantage acne spot treatment
  • Calamine lotion

Face masks/ other treatments:

  • The body shop tea tree oil face mask
  • Queen Helene mint julep face mask
  • Queen Helene mud pack mask
  • Freeman oatmeal and avocado face mask
  • Dermalogica refining masque
  • Clearasil Acne Fighting Wipes
  • Stri-Dex Power Pads

Makeup removers:

  • Ponds cold cream
  • Simple makeup removing wipes

I've been using ponds cold cream mostly, because my skin has been super dry!

Makeup:

  • Dermablend cover cream
  • L'Oreal lumi foundation (not for oily skin)
  • L'Oreal true match powder

Hopefully this helps! Let me know of any other products you like to use :) Be patient with your skin!

nice post! We are exact opposites- anything cream will break me out! The only skincare i use is cerave foaming cleanser and thats itttt. i wash my face for like 5 seconds to decrease the irritation and thats it. I dont even wear moisturizer because i cant.... i know odd. My whole family is the same way... so i guess i just inherited it.
