Hello everyone. I have been battling severe acne for 3 years now. I have tried almost all the products but accutane. As you can see, I have a lot of pits, huge pores, scars, and pimples. As you can see on the other picture are one of my 3 biggest blackhead removals. (The smallest of the 3.) I am currently on epiduo for about a month now, and yet to see results. Everywhere I go, at least 1 person comments on my acne. I have really, really oily skin. I wear sunblock everyday with spf 50. If anyone could have any tips for me to remove/stop my acne, any thanks would be appreciated! (:post-379060-0-96351100-1393298984_thumb.post-379060-0-87364400-1393299012_thumb.

Hello Andy!

My number one tip for you since you've already seen a dermatologist is to stick with the regimen they've advised you to follow. You may not see a big difference at first but the best thing to do is to stick to it and stay in constant communication with your derm. Now lets say you're like "hey this product isn't working for me" make sure to let them know so they can prescribe something stronger or change your regimen.

Maybe it'll help you to know what I'm using and what products work for me. I'm on antibiotics, using epiduo,erythromycin-benzoyl peroxide(highly recommend using!), and because of my oily skin I wash my face 1st with an exfoliate wash and then with this wash called "cetaphil oil control foam wash ". Also when I wash my face I use a facial scrub brush so that the wash really penetrates my skin. I don't scrub hard as that can do more damage.

Also, I was recently advised that doing a detox might help as well. The way it works is that you drink half a glass of lemon juice every morning and 15 mins before bed. I've heard it makes a pretty big difference with the appearance of your skin. There may be more to it then that but I'd definitely recommend looking into it.

Hope this helps =)
