Hi,

I've had a dermapen treatment done today. The doctor recommended after the treatment that I apply aloe vera gel to my face every few hours for the next 1-2 days to help soothe the skin. I was going to do this but I've read a few things which contradict this. Namely that aloe vera is an anti-inflammatory and should not be applied straight after the treatment as inflammation is part of the collagen stimulation process.

Does anyone advise against using aloe vera gel after dermapen? If so what other cream or gel can I use to help recover and soothe/moisturise the skin.
