I am 17 years old 6months till 18, heres my story, my brother once had acne just like me in his late 16s-17s, now hes 19 years old, around 1 and a half years older than me, his face is so clear not even a single acne, does this mean once I hit 18-19 my face will clear up just like his? my acne is less than mild, Ive been using BP prescribed by my doctor about 2-3months now its going pretty well, but my brother didnt use anything and his acne went when he grew out of it, at his 17s, does this mean mine will go too? I am scared that it will continue into my 20s, cuz his acne went abit earlier around his 17s, heres a picture of my acne,

I also go to the gym quit alot, drink alot of water, and eat healthy, and its not even making my acne better, I guess my acne is just one of those hormonal ones that whatever you do it wont go I just gotta grow out of it in my 18s-19s, can this also be correct?

Your skin looks pretty mild in your pictures. If your acne is genetic, then it is likely that your skin will clear up at a similar time as your brother's did. If not, your hormone level may balance out in in a year or so, causing your skin to be clear.

Agreed with SunnySarah, I'm quite sure that your acne is genetic.. Don't worry :)

Eat healthy, stay away from drugs & do exercise every day for 30 minutes. Be patient and everything will be ok.. All the best! :)

mhh. well im not derm. If you want you can go see a specialist. But if not i will maybe give you a advice.

1) do not touch your face (unless washing it) - im serious not a pinky or your friends pinky or your pill case can touch it. ( use a clean pillow case or put a clean hand towel down.

2) Dont drink for a couple weeks... you know what i mean

3) Only drink water- you should be drinking atleast 2500 ML of water per day.

4) No soda, no sweets, no dairy, cut the coffee too

5) dont eat spicy foods or things high in salt. - no cut noodles or anything instant.

6) or greasy foods like fast food.

7) if you sweat or take a run or whatever wash your face after with a face wash or something - nothing with fragrance in it or oils

Eat more freshly prepared foods- like a fresh flat bread or sandwich or pasta with a bit of sauce and beyond.

i know it probs sounds awful what i just said- but the advice i gave is free of charge and worth a shot.. right?

again water water water water- is your best friend. you should drink 600-800 ML just in the morning time and through to breakfast. im rambling. just eat more naturally :) good luck

Im not a specialist, but i
