hi, I have been on a dermatologist and they handed me a prescription of:

1.) Minocycline 100mg ( take 1 @ bedtime)

2.) BP 5% (use everyday)

3.) Tretinoin Cream 0.05% ( apply only @ night @ bedtime)

4.) clindamycin phosphate 1% (apply only every morning)

but I they also give me samples of products to use in complement for those prescription medications to lessen the dryness of my skin, and these are:

1.) Cetaphil Foaming Cleanser

2.) CeraVe Moisturizing Cream

3.) CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser.

now I am confused when should I use these non-prescription products. and I am here to ask for your help and guidance about this.

currently, this is my routine (based from my researches):

AM

1.) wash with CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser.

2.) wash with BP 5%

3.) apply clindamycin phosphate 1%

4.) wait to dry for about 10-30mins, then apply CeraVe Moisturizing Cream

PM

1.) take 1 Minocycline 100mg

1.) wash with Cetaphil Foaming Cleanser,

2.) wash with BP 5%

3.) apply Tretinoin Cream 0.05%

4.) wait to dry for about 10-30mins, then apply CeraVe Moisturizing Cream

is this correct? or should i change the succession of products?. thanks in advance

Seems ok to me. After a while you can choose which cleanser you prefer and just stick to the one, but it doesn't really matter.

Good luck with your regimen, I hope you see results soon. :)

thanks maam,

I'm just a little confused on whether I should use Cetaphil in the morning then CeraVe in nighttime, and also I have read some reviews saying that they use the moisturizing cream after washing with BP and then they wait 30 mins to apply the Retin-A.

also, do you have any sunblock to prefer? I got Neutrogena's Men Moisturizing lotion with SPF 20 and I don't know if it can be applied along with my morning regime.

thanks!
