Has anybody tried the Roots aloe vera brand? Supposedly it is organic 100% aloe vera with no chemicals or additives. That explains why it needs to be refrigerated. I am thinking about getting this in the hope that it will help my acne. red marks, and inflamed skin. Opinions?

Double topic posting plus advertising link

I am not advertising. If you look at some of my other posts you can see pictures of me and my acne. Heck, I'm just wanting advice on products to help heal my train-wreck skin. Besides everybody else posts links all the time!

Hm I might have to look into that. I've been using Jason's aloe vera and it's been working pretty well. The only downfall is that I can't wear it out because it doesn't absorb into my skin and if I touch my face at all it balls up and looks like my skin is peeling.

How about just getting an aloe vera plant, keeping it in the window in a large pot and breaking small pieces off when you need them? That way it will have fresh plant enzymes, no oxidation and no loss of potency.
