Hey guys, So I never really took an actual course of accutane (My course was basically 1.5 months of accutane, and I took it about 3 times a week, and each time I took about 20 mg).
So in essence, My question is, how long should I wait till I get otoplasty? My ears bother me a lot because they stick out. It has been about 3 months post accutane thus far
I would talk to a surgeon about this for a definite answer but I would think around 6 months you would be okay since you didn't do a full on accutane course. But I'd mention it to a surgeon before hand for sure. You could get a referral in the mean time and call the office and ask for the nurse of your doctor so he or she can talk to the doctor before you go in so your not wasting time ya know. Thats what I would do.

Yes, I read that 6 months is the "MINIMUM" recommended wait time post accutane for surgery. I have a consultation this week so I will say what my surgeon says but since I took such a low dose, maybe I can have the surgery quicker. But then again, better safe than sorry
