Does anyone else here have super oily skin? my skin gets really oily by noon (or even sooner!). it's not just my t-zone, but all over my face. my pores are also really huge. i feel so embarrassed walking around in the sun because i feel like all my pores are magnified & that my face is super red, etc etc.

has anyone with oily skin found a solution for this problem? please give advice! i wear oil-free foundation & 'stay matte' powder that obviously doesn't work (or only works for about 30 minutes, then my skin is oily again).

i appreciate any response, thank you.

My skin is super oily, I wash and then about 2 hours ish later its oily again and makes me feel dirty for the rest of the day. Must be lovely not to have oily skin.

I too have had super oily skin like yours until recently. I just began Dan's bp gel again. I've also started using a micro dermabrasion cloth so I don't know if it's the cloth or the bp gel that's been keeping my face from getting oily. Maybe it's a combination of both. I used to wash my face 3 times a day but now I do it only 2 times cuz my face doesn't get that oily anymore.

try not washing your face as much. for example, try not washing your face for two days and then when u finally wash it, just use water. the 1st two days your face will probably be real oily but there on after it will probably decrease.

mandelic acid works very well! After 3 weeks of using it, I'm still very surprised when at night, having not washed me face since morning, is soft & oil free (except for sides of nose but oh well!) It took about 1 1/2 weeks to dry out my skin. I hardly wear makeup now but I am considering Mac StudioFix for when I go out. Makeup usually lasts me about a year! I also use a cheap C&C cleanser I think it's oilfree antibacterial cleanser, it's orange. Makes your skin matte. & I use Oil of Olay moisturizer for combo/oily skin. That's it! This is the first topical regimine that has ever worked to relieve me of my excessively oily skin. It is also a good idea to take an antibiotic when you 1st start mandelic because it causes everything to come to the surface. hope that helped! And dont try not washing your face for a few days. People with oily skin must wash their face 1-2 times a day. Plus not washing your skin really worsens roscea.
