Nope, didn't hit my head, it's just my cystic forehead acne! Thanks for noticing!

My friend innocently asked me this and didn't mean to upset me - it was awkward for both of us - but I've been thinking of it for days now and feeling even worse about my cysts.

I just hate explicit reminders of how visible and distracting my acne is even after I've spent time trying to hide it with makeup and trying to convince myself that it's really not so bad and that I'm capable of sucking it up and facing the world.
