What Is This, Please Help.

Recommended Posts

I've had this spot next to my eyebrows for at least like 6 years now. It's always bothered me somewhat but never seriously did.

It's not acne,

Any tips would be great, thanks!

My mom and my dad actually have the same thing on their cheek. It looks similar to what they had...it looks like a sunspot. You can have it checked to be sure.

As for tips, prevention is better than cure, so to prevent anymore from popping up, use a sunscreen. To lighten the spot you have, you can try a product with hydroquinone in it to help it fade. This will be of no use though if you do now protect your skin, so again I want to emphasize the importance of sunscreen.

Hope this helps. I don't have any sunspots, but my it hydroquinone has helped my mom with her dark spot and also with my red acne marks.

Not melanoma. I've had this for at least five six years so I doubt its cancerous.

Sunspots though, looks like that's it. Google images look like what I have..the weird thing is though, i never get ajy sun...hm.

How did your parents get rid of theirs?

Try something with hydroquinone in it. NeoStrata has a good lightening cream that she used to use for her sun spots. Word of caution though, it will make your face sensitive to the sun so make sure to use SPF when going out in the daytime.
