Cross-Resistance?

About a year and a half ago i was using topical Erythromycin (Zinerit) for my acne. Really helped me, cleared it all in a week, but then it stopped working, since i built a tolerance to it.

Now i know that there is a cross-tolerance between erythromycin, clindamycin and probably azithromycin, since they are all from the macrolide group.

My question is, if i've become resistant to topical erythromycin, will taking oral azithromycin (Azatril) have any effect on me?
