hi i have had acne since i was 10 now 21. my face isnt as bad as it used to be (it was cystic) now its more like rosacea but my back and chest still has severe cystic acne and scarring. my biggest issue though is my nose has sebaciouse hyperplesia and is lumpy and thick skinned. i have an appointment set with a dermatologyst in two weeks but my hyperplesia is worsening. im pretty sure i will get perscribed accutane as i have been on everything else (retin a, benzoly 2.5, 5%, antibiotics) but i was wondering how long it takes from the first meeting with the derm to start taking the drug? obviously i need blood test nd weighing but i was wondering how long all this takes?
