So I attacked a growing pimple with some ice, and successfully stopped it in its tracks, but I ended up with something much worse. I guess I held the ice too long because I had a red mark that lasted for 3 days. Today I examined it and its turned to a darker brown color, like hyperpigmentation... Ugh should I be worried? If it's only a dark mark I guess it'll go away, but should I get it checked out by a doctor?

Did you put ice directly onto the skin? No paper towel or anything between the ice and your skin? Maybe try putting some aloe vera on it, I wouldn't worry though, a dermatologist would probably just give you a retin-a for it.

I had it wrapped in a paper towel but it may have ripped through it, I'm not sure. I guess I'm just being paranoid, thanks!
