Hey guys, I'm interested in trying out copper peptides for my acne scarring...BUT, I've read instances of people getting the "uglies" from the more powerful line of SkinBiology CP products and this has me a bit leery of using their products. So my question is....could I use another brand that's milder than the SkinBiology products and still have decent results?

I was looking into these two products:

http://www.bonanza.com/listings/Technaskin-COPPER-Peptide-Skin-Therapy-Serum-CERAMIDES-MultiVitaminComplex-Italy/97964771?gpid=41279011741&gpkwd=&goog_pla=1&gclid=COu3-dmK-7QCFelDMgodxgcAjQ

But I want to make sure I'm getting an effective product. Any advice?

What is the "uglies"?

And I use Terproline professional instead. I think lamarr said it was better. http://www.acne.org/messageboard/index.php/topic/217908-ok-guys/page-1

Supposedly it's when copper peptides cause the skin to look a lot more aged and wrinkled. Most of the accounts I've heard of people that have experienced this are people that have used the stronger SkinBiology brand copper peptides. I figure they probably overused the product, but I still don't want to take the risk of using that brand if I don't have to.

Any more responses? I could really use some more help/input on this before I purchase either of the copper peptide products.

I have Neova's copper moisture mask. My esthetician uses it all the time for facials, and it doesn't dry out the skin.
