Winter And The Regimen

Recommended Posts

There's probably a few of my fellow Canadians on these boards. Have any of you had different experiences with the regimen depending on the season?

I started the Regimen on April Fools' Day, 2012, so most of my experience with it has been for the Summer. My results were so quick and the side effects were so fleeting and mild that I would consider it anomalous. I had a pretty good Summer, needless to say.

And I have continued to have good results. This past month, those results fluctuated a tiny bit. I have been moving, and I spent a lot of time working hard outside at around -30 *C. The cold and the wind and the snow give me dry lips every year, but I also feel that it may have contributed to my acne. The weeks when I was outside for substantial lengths of time, I noticed very mild occurrences of acne, where normally the regimen keeps me under control. Has anyone else had similar experiences? What is a good way to prevent this?

I am also wondering if it is not just the cold, but the extreme temperature shock that causes this. Going from thirty below to a hot fireplace in a minute always makes my skin feel odd. I suppose it could just be the skin warming up, like frozen feet in a hot shower. Just something to mull over!
