So this has been here now for about a week and about 3 days ago it was nearly gone and I figure it'd pass by by now but it somehow got worse. I took a 5 day break for my doxycycline and with New Years and all I drank a lot and I only usually wash my face w ivory soap once or twice a day but I didn't wash much during this span and now it's at it's worst. I believe bp only makes it redder as I've used it to cover it up when I go out and it's seemed to make it bigger and redder. I also tried icing it last night and that didn't take down the swelling. It doesnt appear to be a pimple as it wouldve gotten a white head by now. It doesnt seem to be filled w anything either but has some minor pain when i push on it. If someone could tell me what this is and even how to get rid of it that'd be great. Thanks
I believe its a cyst, sometimes they take a couple weeks to go away, just keep using BP on it, and don't aggravate it at all, the less inflammation with a cyst the better. Typically they kinda feel hard in the middle, and they are painful when touched. Just leave it alone, and don't pick at it, it should go away within a week or so!
