Hey people cheers for reading this,

I first had acne when I was 11 years old. It got progressivly worse and I tried every treatment under the sun until I found pany 2.5% when I was 17 or so. Over a number of year I got my skin clear and was 99% happy with it this made me a fun , confident and talkative person who loved life and going out.

Since they have stopped production of pany I have yet again tried numerous products and I'm currently on lymecycline tablets and acnecide 5%. None of these alterantives have worked and my acne has come back badly. I'm so depreessed as the last few years my skin was pretty clear and the scarrs were all nearly gone or very faded. Now I barley speak to anyone as I dont want people looking at me and I try to avoid going out apart from to work. Even at work I try to speak to people as least as possible. I've tried to put a brave face on all of this for the last 10+ years saying things like "It's personality that matters" etc etc but I dont feel like I can face it anymore.

I'm so upset right now and really dont know what's best...

I've never heard of "pany" but you said it was 2.5%. Does that mean 2.5% benzoyl peroxide? If so, you can order some from our webstore. http://www.danielkern.com/

I looked up Acnecide and it is 5% bp. It should work for you. Follow Dan's tips for using it. http://www.acne.org/regimen BP works best when you use it very generously and follow with a good moisturizer. Give it some time.

How long have you been on the Acnecide and how have you been using it?

Yes 2.5% benzoyl peroxide.

I have been using acnecide for 3 months applying it once in the morning and once in the evening I'm using all the same moistruisers and cleansers as before when I was clear :/

Start with changing your diet. Cut out breads, potato chips, table sugar, sweets, junks, etc. That REALLY should make a difference within 1 week.

Water is essential, try and drink around 6 to 8 bottles each day. Green Tea is also recommended!

Long term benzoyl peroxide use will just irritate the skin which can lead to more acne and other skin problems. Please consider adjusting your lifestyle. Eat healthy as the above user said, cut out dairy and gluten, take Omega 3's, exercise every day, drink lots of water and get lots of sleep

Try Danne Montague King if you have the money, worth it. It's in most countries and you will not leave with acne.

Hi had acne severe for many years since I was a child.. tried every spot cream.. took 6 antibiotics per day to try and help. I have very greasy skin which always made my spots worse.. I decided to try acnecide and I was stunned.. my skin is now amazing. Yes it does bleach clothing and bedding.. so I put an old pillow case on.. use an old towel for washing my face. I use it the minute I get up and before bed. The benzol peroxide dries up the greasy skin.. don't use loads as it would probably be too drying.. no longer do I take my 6 antibiotics. . Or spend loads on every spot cream going. There maybe people who are allergic to benzol peroxide, but this is brilliant.. wish this was around years ago. Hope this helps people who have suffered years of misery. Acnecide is my best friend x
