Keep in mind that too much of any brand zinc can make you feel tired. You may be getting anemic due to overdose. Be careful with it.

Here's a little more info for you:

Anemia is a side effect of having higher-than-normal levels of zinc in your body; extreme fatigue, paleness of your skin, headaches and heart arrhythmia can all be symptoms of anemia. Doses upward of 50 mg daily of zinc can interfere with your body's ability to absorb copper, another trace mineral essential to health. Symptoms of copper deficiency brought on by zinc overdose can include low white blood cell count and an increased risk of infection, as well as osteoporosis.

Very true... I learned that the hard way. I was getting awful headaches and couldn't understand why. I thought with my all natural diet and supplementation that I should feel great. But I didn't. So I did some research, finally realized I was ODing on Zinc, lowered my dosage and headaches went away :)

It's good that you're supplementing. Zinc picolinate is the best form of zinc; it's the best form absorbed easiest by the body.

Also, I've read some bad reviews about Costco (kirkland) brand fish oil. They use a lot of fillers and toxic stuff; some listed on the ingredients and some not. I'd recommend getting a all natural fish oil supplement from a reputable company.

If a good multivitamin works for you then you don't need anything else

Hmm interesting. Do you have any suggestions for fish oils? Much appreciated thanks.

My Optizinc has zinc methionine and copper in it, so this is good right? Btw, I took one yesterday, and did not feel tired at all. So that is a big plus. Usually when I took the chelated zinc gluconate I had previously, I would have to take a nap, even if I only took 25mg!

It doesn't work though. I started out with just the multivitamin, and my pimples weren't going away so I slowly added everything else.
