Drinking Hot Tea Vs. Cold Tea

I remember reading somewhere that drinking green tea while it's hot is much more potent and beneficial (for your skin and overall health) than drinking it cold or as iced tea. I was wondering if this is actually true and, if so, is this the case for all tea? Do you have to drink hot tea in order to reap all the benefits, or does it not really matter all that much? Thanks for any info!
