How Do You Know If Your Acnes Hormonal ?

Recommended Posts

I'm currently on dianette, took my last pill of my second pack yesterday , so now on my 7 day break. My skin has def improved but I'm not sure whether it's the roaccutane that could b doing that as I've been taking it for 22 days now but it's still a short amount of time to think its that.

Where is hormonal acne normally situated ?

I get it on my cheeks, jaw sometimes but not at the moment, by my ears and chin. My trunk is always spared though.

Be great to hear from anyone :) and also to hear from any current or previous dianette users :)

Chin/jawline and lower cheek acne is usually hormonal.

You can pay to get your testosterone and androgen levels tested by an endocrinologist. High testosterone and/or androgen activity is one indicator of a hormonal acne problem.
