Hi I'm 24 years old, acne scars directly at all I have only a couple of the smallpox, and the rest of the bench pimples on nails, and 1 scar after burn in childhood, unless you decide to laser fraxel repair, please tell me what I can count% improvement ? is it the right choice for the laser on my face? how to remove freckles? and how to prepare for such an operation, or should I lubricate face cream that already take vitamin C?? I have dry skin, if you'll go for surgery was showing you what I'll be a few days it worked laser image
sry for my english I hope you understand what I wrote
I think your skin looks fine. I can see the dashes and burn scar, but based on your photos, I think it's minor. You should see some improvement to your scars and the overall texture of your skin from Fraxel Re:pair but it won't "eliminate" your scars. I think burn scars are much harder to treat. If you do proceed with Re:pair, please post updates here. I'm interested to see the level of improvement.
Good luck!

Out of curiosity, why do you believe that Repair won't eliminate his scars? His scars seem so minor that perhaps an aggressive treatment like Repair would no doubt remove them as they're incredibly superficial and / or at least make them virtually unnoticeable.
Can't scars like his not be 'eliminated'?

Because no scars can be completely eliminated. They will still be there in one form or another. The best you can hope for is superficial scars, scars that are so small and shallow that they can no longer be noticed unless, like, you use a magnifying glass or you're looking at a 10000 DPI picture of the skin.

That's a bit depressing. But, hypothetically speaking, once the scars are as you say superficial and so small and shallow, would further additional treatments (of co2 laser full or fractional) not finish off the job by 'eliminating' them once and for all.
Not really, no. Even with reconstructive surgery, scars never go away completely. They can be treated to the point where they are not noticeable without very close inspection, even better once you add make-up on top of that, but otherwise they never go away completely.
That's the unfortunately reality of it in our modern era.

I believe it for exactly the reasons that DRaGZ stated. I think the overall texture of his skin will improve but none of his scars will be completely removed, especially the larger burn scar.
if anyone of you have seen some pictures where someone had a similar scar on his face after burn like me and used the laser to it no matter what, I would like to see what is the effect of the laser on a scar similar to mine, does not have to be necessarily in the face, and laser reapir it is too strong for such a scar? not growing my hair and it is very delicate
Well, burn scars have been historically very difficult to treat, especially for males in the face because of the problem you just described of facial hair not growing back. I actually know of a doctor who wanted to tattoo fake hair onto a dude's face to make up for it, but that's just replacing one problem with another.
In any case, lasers won't help the problem of hair not regrowing. It may help reform the collagen underneath the scar, but I don't think it's necessary. In fact, your burn scar is the only noticeable scar on your face, and it's not all that bad at all.

Let me guess, this text was sent from your phone. LOL Ablative Fractional CO2 is being used to treat burn scars. i.e. The Bern Triplets http://today.msnbc.m...-have-new-hope/ In addition to what you have mentioned an ice mask is helpful to reduce swelling. I used a vinegar and water mix to take off the Aquafor - you seem to be using Cosmetic Vaseline. Find out at what level you are being treated. Good luck on your procedure. If treated at a high level the first couple days can be intense. I was told by the plastic surgeon before my initial regular CO2 to drink pineapple juice. It is too late now to advise you not to use any topicals prior to surgery. You have minimal scarring and should experience excellent results from Re:pair. I am especially interested in how this will effect the burn scar.

In a few days when the blood is gone you will feel a lot better. Re:pair always looks worse than it really is because of the blood. Make sure you keep your face moist and rinse requently. You may or may not experience a lot of swelling in the next day or so. After my first Re:pair I was unrecognizeable on the 2nd day. You didn't mention ice for the swelling. After the swelling I found walking around plastered with Aquafor to be the worst. Once you finally get to take a shower you will feel much better. At about a week I got antsy and had to go somewhere so I drove to Florida. As you can tell by my signature I have had Re:pair 5 times, and it was the very best decision I ever made.
