Okay To Use Olay Regenerist Microdermabrasion Kit While On The Regimen?

Recommended Posts

I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to post this.

Anyway, the Olay Regenerist Microdermabrasion kit is something I've been intending to use for a while now on some minor scarring and redmarks (my skin has no problems otherwise, thanks to the acne.org regimen). My concern is that using it while on the regimen might make my face melt off or something along the lines of that.

Not a good idea. Dan does not recommend any sort of microdermabrasion while on The Regimen. There's too much potential for irritation which could worsen your acne.

I was completely clear for 6 months when I re-introduced a dermologica exfoliating pad into my regimen (while following DKR). My skin felt amazing after I used it, positively smooth and beautiful. But then 3 days later my face positively erupted with acne. I got approx 10 pimples all pop up at the same time, which took a good 3 weeks to heal. I was completely devastated, and needless to say I've never been tempted to exfoliate again. AHA+ will remain the best option for me.

I second AyeAye... I broke out like crazy about two weeks ago from over-exfoliating... I used my clarisonic mia, then applied AHA... The biggest mistake!! Within a day or two I began to breakout with around 7 actives scattered around my face... I wholeheartedly believe AHA is the only way to go regarding exfoliation on DKR...
