Do You Think My Skin Is Improving? (Pics)

Recommended Posts

Hi all! I found some pics I decided to take before I started on my journey with the regimen.

Me a week before starting the regimen:

Me 2 weeks into the regimen:

Do you think my skin is looking better?

Yeah it is definitely improving. But remember it has only been two weeks, keep at it and be patient. But so far from the pics, it is looking good. You should be encouraged by these results :)

Thanks y'all :)

By the way, I am keeping a log on every week using these products:

So check it out. Right now in week 4 I'm dealing with severe broken skin that burns when I add moisturizer and flakiness... Nothing Jojoba oil can't solve! :)

I haven't skipped a treatment yet and I don't plan to! It's become a routine, just like brushing my teeth.

Hey there.. Things are looking quite good, keep up the good work!!! Just a bit of advise, I see you are using a moisturizer with salicylic acid which can counteract with BP, causing further irritation and drying. You may want to consider switching to a moisturizer like Cetaphil or CeraVe that are gentler on your skin while doing the regimen. Good luck and keep us up to date on your progress... :)

Hm, my skin has been extremely dry, and I am trying rubbing jojoba oil on my skin before I wash it to help remove some flakes.... I do have another moisturizer I use during the day when I'm at work... It's Neutrogena oil-free moisturizer. Maybe I should switch to that for a week and see what happens? I'll start it when I hit week 5 this Sunday. Thanks for the tip! =)

Okay, so I've decided to use the Neutrogena moisturizer tonight... And omg, does it burn! =( I guess because I have really leathery, dry, flaky skin huh?

Here's the product:

Also, does heat affect moisturizers in anyway? Like if they have been left out in your car in the sun?

Ugh, here's what I look like after doing the moisturizer without applying jojoba oil (which does handle some of it)... I don't even feel attractive at all. =/ Oh well, just have to keep a good attitude. It's just embarrassing at work when I'm flaking... I wonder what other people are thinking when they look at my face all of the time... What do you think? And please be honest.

It's all part of the process bro! It's not an easy road to success, but I believe you are well on your way. Your face looks a lot better. Keep sticking with the regimen and don't give up.

Don't be so harsh on yourself, it'll get better... Try switching to a heavier moisturizer like Cetaphil though, trust me, it will help tremendously with the dryness and redness.... Good luck and keep us up to date on your progress... :)
