As soon as you start crushing the garlic it starts to lose it's effectiveness. Now imagine not only crushing it up but drying it and letting it sit for weeks or months before usage.

Okay, thanks. How exactly does one take garlic? I assume I'll have to buy a bulb, but how big of a piece should I rip off? People say you take a "clover", but I'm not sure exactly what that is.

When you have a bulb of garlic you'll notice that you can pull pieces off (cloves). Eat one of those, but make sure your doing it when your not going to go out somewhere, stinks so bad
